  • These realistic predator kites beat their wings, bank on the air and soar to new heights emulating a bird in flight.
From a distance it is hard to distinguish a real bird from one of these kites.

Ideal for orchards and vineyards as they encourage other predator birds

    1100mm wingspan
    Made from Tyvek
    Very lightweight but tough
Suited for up to 50km/h winds

Kite is best flown from a telescopic pole.

Can also hang in entry ways as a visual deterrent

Really impressed by the prompt efficient service shown in the delivery of this my second bird from Maintrac Group. Have had the Osprey Hawk for about a year now, both the new Peregrine Falcon and the Hawk work well. I have brought my birds in when the winds have increased to the point where the birds were flying vigorous maneuvers beyond those of the real birds. My Hawk is getting a bit patched and tatty now but the durability is quite impressive. Sorry, Sparrows aren't in the least bothered but no Starlings around now.

This is our second peregrine kite. They are so real a live hawk immediately came to investigate the intruder in its territory. The kite is very effective at keeping the mynah and other birds off the fruit so we get some to harvest

This is our second predator bird, the first one got a bit wind bashed & didn't survive so it's important to remember to take it down in winds over 50k, but in saying that. When we have her flying she certainly does her job & keeps the gulls from landing in the courtyard looking for food while patrons are dining.
